Of course we should want to have a nice guy, but too nice is too bad. The man needs to be respectful and not act like a slave to a woman, otherwise be prepared for constant apologies as you take your anger out on him. If he gives you presents for no reason, constantly touching you in public, gives you embarrassing nicknames, then you should stay away otherwise you will just become annoyed and angry.

If for example you have your heart set on having many kids and the guy doesn’t want any kids, cut your losses even if the chemistry is great because you have no future together. If he is a devout Catholic and you are Jewish and have different morale and religious values, it might be hard to sustain a long term relationship. Make sure you have the same morale values with the guy otherwise nothing will ever work out and it might be difficult to compromise.

There are many men out there and many decent guys who will make you happy and provide a lovely, long lasting relationship. You just have to find the right one and sort out those who will never make you happy.
