When cheating comes into a relationship, people tend to expect their partner to cheat on them with someone at the work place or that they met somewhere out. People tend to ignore the fact that most partners wind up cheating on their partner’s best friend. How can this be?
Well, it might turn out that your best friend isn’t much of a friend after all and will be the most likely person to stab you in the back. Think about it, you spend all the time you have with your best friend when you are not with your girlfriend. After your girlfriend is comfortable with your best friend, you three hang out a lot together. They tend to get closer, not realizing they are flirting with each other.
The biggest thing that reaches out to your partner’s craving to cheat on you with your best friend is that she knows when you don’t treat her well or if things don’t work out, she will have someone to go to and fall back on. She knows someone will be there for her and take care of her when you hurt her.
The moral of this story is that you should not let too much time being spent between your girlfriend and your best friend. Avoid letting them get too close. Also, and most importantly, treat your girlfriend will respect and treat her very well with the kindness she deserves.
